Nimax to Unveil New Website; Feature Updated Services and Expanded Vendor Relationships at Annual Partner Event

Company Puts Resellers Within Easy Reach of IT, POS/AIDC and RFID Business Growth

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nimax, a division of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) and a top distributor of point-of-sale (POS), bar code, RFID, AIDC and wireless hardware products, today announced that it will officially unveil its upgraded customer web site, (www.nimax.com) as well as the division's new logo and tagline at its annual Vendor and Reseller Invitational event Feb. 21 - 23, 2006 at the Sheraton San Diego Resort and Marina.

The Invitational will be attended by more than 150 resellers, vendors, and Nimax and Ingram Micro associates and executives. A featured element of the Invitational, the new Nimax web site, is the latest in a series of enhancements made by Nimax over the past year that are designed to make it easier for the division's resellers to do business and develop new business opportunities. Some of these enhancements include an upgraded phone system, access to the combined product offering of Ingram Micro and Nimax, expanded vendor and product portfolios, and the development of a reseller services network.

The new tagline reflects Nimax's ability to provide customers a broad array of products and support services to build complete solutions. The new logo incorporates the Ingram Micro logo with a type treatment of the division's name in a blue field and matches the broadline distributor's standard look and feel for its customer communities and services offerings, such as VentureTech Network, GovEd Alliance, SMB Alliance, Ingram Micro Services Network and Ingram Micro Logistics.
