MAX Internet Communications and Ingram Micro Enter Distribution Agreement

DALLAS, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- MAX Internet Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:MXIP) , a provider of solutions for accelerated video communications over the Internet, and Ingram Micro, Inc.(NYSE:IM) , the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products, today announced a distribution agreement in which Ingram Micro will offer the MAX i.c.Live(TM) technology to its customers.

Ingram Micro markets microcomputer hardware, networking equipment and software products to more than 175,000 reseller customers in more than 100 countries. Ingram Micro serves technology resellers in three market segments including, commercial (independent dealers, corporate resellers and direct marketers), consumer (computer and office-product superstores, mass merchants, warehouse clubs, electronic stores and Internet storefronts) and VARs (developers of end-user solutions that add services and support to products). As a distributor for MAX Internet Communications, Ingram Micro will be offering the MAX i.c.Live 3600 and the MAX i.c.Live Video Communication Station (VCS(TM)) as a solution for fast, high-quality video and audio communications via the Internet.

The i.c.Live 3600 provides fast and reliable video conferencing and video streaming capabilities for users who are looking for a solution for video conferencing, data collaboration, training and education needs. The VCS is a stand-alone appliance that when connected to a high speed connection and a display device like a television or PC, can provide two-way video conferencing, video mail, Internet surfing and even DVD play.
