Intuit Creates Alliance With IM-Logistics for Retail Direct Program

Ingram Micro's IM-Logistics Engine to Provide Fulfillment, Customization And Virtual Warehousing Services for Intuit's Retail Software Products

SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM) , the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, today announced its U.S. IM-Logistics division is providing outsourced logistics services and supply chain support to Intuit Inc., (NASDAQ:INTU) , maker of Quicken(R), Quicken TurboTax(R) and QuickBooks(R) software, payroll services and related small business management solutions.

Under the new agreement, IM-Logistics serves as the exclusive third-party logistics partner for Intuit's retail channel, fulfilling the company's world- class software products and solutions -- Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax -- for approximately 7,500 retail stores across the country. The industry- leading logistics provider also will support Intuit with customized and enhanced fulfillment services including tailored merchandising, freight optimization/transportation management, returns/reverse logistics and IT support.
