Ingram Micro's IM-Logistics Division to Power BestBuy.com(TM) Fulfillment

Leading Retailer Selects IM-Logistics' Fulfillment Services for Its Proven Track Record

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM) , the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, today announced its IM-Logistics division will provide outsourced logistics services to BestBuy.com(TM), Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE:BBY) .

IM-Logistics will manage warehousing and fulfillment services for the Internet retailer of consumer electronics and personal computers. IM-Logistics will provide inventory fulfillment designed to maximize BestBuy.com's customer satisfaction and optimize its operational infrastructure with Ingram Micro's world-class logistics services.

"The agreement with BestBuy.com expands the relationship Ingram Micro has had with Best Buy," said Michael Terrell, senior vice president and general manager, IM-Logistics, Ingram Micro U.S. "Our proven track record in product fulfillment and our nationwide network of strategically located distribution centers will provide BestBuy.com access to a solid logistics solution to streamline operations and enhance the BestBuy.com customer experience."

BestBuy.com selected IM-Logistics as its fulfillment provider to quickly plan and implement a highly efficient Web fulfillment program that can scale as customer volume increases. IM-Logistics will seamlessly connect orders in real-time from BestBuy.com to Ingram Micro's inventory management systems, then direct them to one of its state-of-the-art distribution centers, which serve as hubs for BestBuy.com fulfillment.
