Ingram Micro's Global Partner Services Awarded Logistics Contract to Support Xerox-Dell Business

Ingram Micro Provides Logistics Engine to Deliver Xerox Office Printers for Dell Sales

SANTA ANA, Calif., May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM) , the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products and services, today announced its Global Partner Services (GPS) division has been awarded the contract to provide logistics services for Dell sales of Xerox office printers.

Ingram Micro's GPS division will provide fulfillment directly from its distribution centers across the country, guaranteeing Dell customers same-day shipping on orders for Xerox printers. According to the agreement, Ingram Micro will handle fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, warranty and claims services, customized reporting and management of special stock-keeping units (SKUs) and bundles. The agreement allows Dell to enjoy the benefits of a direct relationship with Xerox, while providing Xerox with support for increased sales with Dell.
