Ingram Micro Wins Two Coveted Distribution Awards From IBM

North America Team Recognized for Driving Growth Opportunities With Innovative IT Channel Sales and Marketing Programs

SANTA ANA, Calif., March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company, recently received two coveted distribution partner awards from industry giant IBM.

Presented last week at the manufacturer's annual Partnerworld conference in Las Vegas by Rich Hume, vice president, Personal Computing Division Americas at IBM, the awards recognize Ingram Micro for its "stellar" ability to recruit, service and support IBM solution providers, as well as generate new business in growing IT segments, such as small- to mid-sized businesses (SMB) and enterprises.

IBM's Personal Computing Division acknowledged Ingram Micro for being its top distribution partner for the Americas and for achieving the leading market share position in the United States. The honor also recognizes distribution partners that demonstrated strong regional sales, as well as excellence in service and support to the IT reseller channel.
