IM-Logistics Wins Modern Materials Handling Magazine's 2001 Productivity Award For Excellence in Distribution Backroom Services

SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM) , the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and services, today announced its U.S. logistics services division, IM-Logistics, has been honored by Modern Materials Handling Magazine with its 2001 Productivity Award for warehouse excellence.

The prestigious award from the top logistics trade publication recognizes the accomplishments of IM-Logistics, which provides computer reseller, dot-com, manufacturer and brick-and-mortar retail customers with world-class logistics services, including greater than 99 percent accuracy and same-day processing on volumes that exceeded 17.9 million orders in the United States in 2000. Highlighted in the award was Ingram Micro's state-of-the-art distribution center in Jonestown, Penn., which serves the Northeastern United States. That facility was recognized as the most productive among the company's seven strategically located U.S. distribution centers.
