Debuting to more than 300 members and manufacturers at Ingram Micro's GovEd Alliance Invitational in Hollywood, Calif., taking place Oct. 22 - 24, the company will introduce two separate training programs, a number of expanded leasing and finance packages adapted for public sector end users and new GSA services. The new training programs aim to help solution providers identify new technology opportunities and build marketable skills to speed up the sales process within the public sector, while the financing and GSA services simplify administrative processes and help manage costs.

Set to improve student achievement and change the culture of America's schools, the Federal government's 'No Child Left Behind' Act introduces a policy to increase the use of technology in all programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Ingram Micro has aligned with education market professionals The Sage Team, Inc., to deliver training seminars on the technology solutions and service opportunities prompted by this act. The training seminars will equip solution providers with the essential skills and techniques in grant writing for educational programs, as well as provide tips on the specialized technology services targeted to the needs of K-12 and higher education institutions.

Increased GSA Schedule Access
To help ease the complexity and administrative issues of selling to the U.S. government's largest purchasing entity, Ingram Micro has established relationships with GSA schedule holders who will facilitate access to their GSA schedules. The program offers both GSA schedule holders and non-GSA schedule holders increased revenue opportunities and easier access to available new products and manufacturer relationships.
