Ingram Micro SMB Alliance Community Earns Five Stars in 2020 CRN® Partner Program Guide

SMB Alliance and Trust X Alliance Named to Annual Partner Program Guide

Irvine, Calif., April 7, 2020 — Ingram Micro Inc. today announced the Ingram Micro SMB Alliance partner community earned a 5-Star rating in this year’s Partner Program Guide put forth by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company. Ingram Micro’s award-winning, global partner community Trust X Alliance is also featured in the 2020 Partner Program Guide, which identifies the strongest and most successful channel partner programs for IT products and services.

“With incredible leadership at the helm, the Ingram Micro SMB Alliance has helped me and my team build business relationships inside and around Ingram Micro that have turned into friendships and provided us with invaluable insights that have led to incredible gains on multiple fronts,” said Matthew Nikravesh, president and co-founder, Solarus Technologies, and 2020/2021 president of the Ingram Micro SMB Alliance.

A member of SMB Alliance since 2013, Nikravesh continues: “If there's ever anything I need and don't have the answer to, I know I can turn to the relationships I have built within this community and someone can and will help me out. Ingram Micro’s SMB Alliance is my Board of Directors—helping me and my team make the right decisions, and grow the business faster than we could do alone.”

Comprised of nearly 260 channel partners across the U.S., Ingram Micro’s SMB Alliance is focused on building high-impact relationships with other members of the community, as well as with Ingram Micro and its sponsors. With a consistent, double-digit, year-over-year growth, the SMB Alliance fuels channel partners’ success through powerful alliances, dedicated resources and growth-minded leadership meetings across the U.S. known as Talking Shops. This year, the SMB Alliance announced it is expanding its membership by approximately 40 channel partners, bringing the community to 300 strong. Additionally, the SMB Alliance plans to extend its reach to Canada and Spain later this year.

With a series of 5-Star wins, Ingram Micro’s Trust X Alliance is a global partner community that frequently engage with one another to collectively serve the technology needs of small to midsize businesses, as well as midmarket organizations and enterprises. This exclusive, partner-strong community represents approximately 340 MSPs and solution providers worldwide. Recognized for their thought leadership and best practices, members of the Trust X Alliance solution providers grow their businesses locally, regionally and globally.

“Our partner communities are the best in the industry, representing more than 600 of today’s top-performing MSPs and solution providers around the globe,” says Jennifer Anaya, senior vice president of marketing, Ingram Micro. “With a relentless focus on knowledge sharing and success, these two partner communities reward members with meaningful relationships that yield incredible results and empower them to anticipate, meet and exceed the expectations of their customers.”

The Channel Company’s research team analyzed each vendor’s partner program to compile this guide. Each was scored based on several factors, awards for innovation and sales, partner communication and probability, joint marketing planning and marketing skills, sales support, and overall ongoing success. Based on that assessment, both Ingram Micro partner programs are recognized for providing excellent value and support for solution providers. The 5-Star rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs.

“With the speed and complexity of technology today, solution providers need partners that can keep pace and support their growing business,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s Partner Program Guide features insight into the strengths and benefits of each company’s program to identify those that truly support and drive positive change within the IT channel.”

The 2020 Partner Program Guide is featured in the April issue of CRN® and online at www.CRN.com/ppg.
