Ingram Micro Selects Netarx To
Provide Network Monitoring Services For Enterprise and SMB and Market

Business Editors/High Tech Writers

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 2002--Netarx, Inc., Netarx, Inc., a leading Network Monitoring and Remote Operations service provider, announced today that they have signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro (NYSE:IM), the largest global wholesaler of technology products and supply chain management services. Ingram Micro will offer Netarx proactive remote network monitoring services to solution providers targeting enterprise and small- to mid-size businesses (SMB) in the United States.

Netarx provides network integrators and VAR's with a robust, reliable and easy-to-implement network monitoring solution (NMS). Ingram Micro customers will be able to enroll in the Netarx Channel Partner Program, giving them access to a Netarx co-branded NMS service, Netarx lead creation program, a supply chain sales portal to effectively manage and drive NMS business, pre-and post-sales assistance, and high margin monthly recurring revenue.

Through Ingram Micro, Netarx will target strategic geographic areas of the United States and market to network integrators and VAR's who, through analysis of their business trends, will provide the end-user customers with the best possible NMS experience.

Our channel partners demand cost-effective monitoring solution for their clients. Because we do not mark up products or licenses, we can provide a one stop solution to our partners, saving them up to half a million dollars in hardware, software and staff to mind a well rounded monitoring solution, says Duane Tursi, Co Founder and President of Netarx.

Netarx is well recognized for its superior track record of monitoring and managing complex networks, along with its state-of-the-art data center facilities and operational support systems, said Jodi Honore, vice president, vendor management, Ingram Micro North America. Ingram Micro has the resources for Netarx to reach solution providers looking to expand their network service offerings to the enterprise and SMB markets.

When a Netarx NMS sensor unit is installed on an end user's network and connected securely via the internet to Netarx 24-7 Network Operations Center, the Netarx Central Monitoring System detects, notifies, reports and offers advice on how to fix network incidents, many times before the customer knows a problem exists. Netarx 24-7 monitoring systems allow solution providers to continuously monitor clients' network systems, providing them with an invaluable understanding of their clients' infrastructure behavior while identifying additional onsite service opportunities.
