About Marimba's Castanet

Marimba's Castanet technology enables the distribution, management and updating of applications within enterprises and across the Internet. Using Marimba's Castanet, applications can be personalized and are updated either automatically or on demand. During the update, only the actual bytes that have changed are transmitted and installed, offering extremely efficient use of network bandwidth. Additionally, Castanet software provides IT administrators with a choice of complete centralized or decentralized control of both the software distribution and update processes.
