Extended Flooring and Bonding Programs Help Increase Solution Providers' Competitive Advantage on Government Contracts

(NYSE: IM), a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company, today announced two new financial services offerings available exclusively through its GovEd Alliance community. The new financial services offerings include extended flooring and bid-bonding programs that help solution providers get easier access to the financing and insurance services required to win government contracts.
The GovEd Alliance community is dedicated to helping manufacturers and more than 2,000 solution providers grow their businesses and maximize sales opportunities with the federal, state, local and K-12 education segments. With these new financing programs, GovEd Alliance solution providers can now choose from an array of financing options to extend their cash flow and increase the profitability of government contracts.
Under a new agreement with GE Commercial Distribution Finance, Ingram Micro's GovEd Alliance solution providers now receive 60-day free flooring and finance options on all products purchased. In addition, Ingram Micro has increased its existing flooring finance program with Textron Financial Corporation from 45 days to 60 days.
Further, Ingram Micro has introduced new bid-bonding services which are also provided by Textron Financial Corporation and available through Textron Financial's national insurance group. These new bid-bonding services provide additional credit insurance resources for government contracts that require bonding insurance and offer highly competitive rates for credit insurance based on the solution provider's financial performance. With these new services, GovEd Alliance solution providers can now compete for more government contracts and use this insurance to demonstrate their financial viability to a larger group of government contract providers.
