IRVINE, Calif. — Nov. 1, 2018. — Ingram Micro Inc. today released its second annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) report, outlining nonfinancial strategy and performance for the 2017 year.
The report presents the most comprehensive aggregation of Ingram Micro’s sustainability data to date, spanning operations in more than 50 countries. It highlights progress and challenges on environmental, workplace and supply chain responsibility issues, including the company’s performance against targets set in 2016.
Key accomplishments include exceedance of solid waste and renewable energy targets, a rise in the number of facilities tracking and reporting sustainability metrics and increased charitable donations compared to the previous year. Ingram Micro also completed verification of its anti-bribery management system to ISO 37001:2016.
In addition, Ingram Micro continued its evolution into a diversified technology solution provider, expanding its Advanced Solutions offerings and surpassing two million active seats on its Cloud Marketplace. A leader in the area of lifecycle management of electronics, Ingram Micro also reduces electronic waste through repair, refurbishment and recycling activities, while offering circular solutions, such as hardware as a service.
Going forward, Ingram Micro aims to expand its sustainability platform to increase focus on climate action and supply chain responsibility.
