(NYSE: IM), the world's largest technology distributor, today announced its offering of Citrix Training Pass vouchers to resellers in the United States. This value-added service enables Ingram Micro customers to purchase Citrix Training Pass vouchers that can be redeemed by qualified resellers or end-user customers for courses at select Citrix Authorized Learning Center(TM) (CALC) locations. Ingram Micro is currently the only Citrix distributor to offer Training Pass vouchers for resale.
Designed to provide resellers with expanded access to training programs and flexible fulfillment options, the Citrix Training Pass program gives resellers the option of either using the Citrix Training Pass vouchers to become certified by Citrix, or reselling the vouchers to their customers to increase services revenue. Through the Citrix Training Pass program, resellers can also enhance their training programs without incurring the cost of building their own training facility. The program further benefits resellers by allowing them to redeem the Training Pass vouchers at participating CALCs.

Currently, Ingram Micro offers Citrix Training Pass vouchers for two MetaFrame Presentation Server solutions. The CTX1222BB (SKU #E76426) training is a four-day workshop for companies who are operating, or plan to deploy, the Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server; and the CTX1223AI (SKU #F14463) training is a five-day workshop for companies who are operating, or plan to deploy, the Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server v3.0 Administration. The workshops also are core elements of the Citrix Certified Administrator(TM) (CCA) or Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator(TM) (CCEA) certification process. Engineers who have studied previous MetaFrame Presentation Server platforms (e.g. WinFrame or MetaFrame Presentation Server 1.8) can now get certified on the MetaFrame XP Presentation Server Platform.
