Technology Distributor Named to List of Top Local Companies
BUFFALO, N.Y. – April 18, 2017 – Ingram Micro Inc. today announced its Buffalo, N.Y. campus has been recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work" by Buffalo Business First, a leading business newspaper serving the region.
The 2017 winners were selected by Quantum Workplace using an employee engagement survey that measures how a company rates as a great place to work across multiple categories, including job satisfaction, corporate culture and professional development. Approximately fifty percent of Ingram Micro's Buffalo-based associates participated in the voluntary survey where Ingram Micro was recognized in the “Best Place to Work” Extra Large category for companies with 250+ employees.
Established in 1982, Ingram Micro's Buffalo campus is considered the primary sales hub for the distributor's U.S. sales force and customer support teams. With more than 1,600 employees, the campus engaged with thousands of technology vendors and solution providers to help them grow their business in 2016, and invested in training to develop and advance employees business, sales and technical skill sets. Additionally, last year Ingram Micro's Buffalo-based employees raised more than $400,000 for charitable organizations such as Roswell Park Cancer Institute, United Way, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Hasek’s Heroes, SABAH and the Boys & Girls Club.
