Ingram Micro Ranked Top Wholesaler on Fortune Magazine's 'Most Admired Companies' List for 2007

Company Receives Highest Scores in Five Drivers of Corporate Reputation,
Including Innovation and Management Team

SANTA ANA, Calif., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) has been awarded the premier position on Fortune Magazine's 2007 list of "Most Admired Companies" in the Electronics and Office Equipment Wholesalers category. The company leapt into first place this year after ranking fifth on the 2006 list.

"Receiving this type of national recognition in Fortune Magazine shows the importance Ingram Micro places on maintaining a strong corporate culture and maximizing the value we deliver to our vendors and customers across the board," said Ingram Micro's CEO, Greg Spierkel. "Our associates continue to raise the bar, bringing to bear a new level of excellence that can only be achieved through teamwork, innovation and a shared vision of success. Without the dedication and hard work of our associates, this significant move would not have happened. I am very proud to be supporting such a committed team of business professionals."

To establish the rankings, Fortune Magazine analyzed each company based on eight key drivers of corporate reputation. Within its category, Ingram Micro was rated no. 1 in innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, quality of management, and quality of products/services, and scored higher overall than all six of its competitors within the same category.

The full list of companies can be found in the March 19 issue of Fortune Magazine and at http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/mostadmired/2007/index.html.
