Ingram Micro ONE Extends Reach to Latin America

Orlando, FL. — September 12, 2018 — INGRAM MICRO ONE LATAM — Ingram Micro is holding its first Ingram Micro ONE event for channel partners working in the Latin American market this week in Orlando, Fla.

Held annually, Ingram Micro ONE brings together hundreds of Ingram Micro’s channel partners and technology providers within a designated geography to engage with and learn from each other, while hearing the latest in technology innovations, trends and business best practices from industry thought leaders and subject matter experts. With the introduction of LATAM, Ingram Micro ONE now spans three geographies – North America, APAC and LATAM.

With more than 900 attendees, Ingram Micro ONE LATAM welcomes channel partners and providers from the subsidiaries of the Argentina, Brazil, Caribbean, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Throughout the event, speakers and sponsors are spotlighting the latest business trends, IT solutions and service capabilities around hot topics including digital transformation, IoT, cybersecurity and data center.

"The business opportunities for IT professionals and providers are increasing, which is why we continue to invest in the talent, training and tools needed to serve as an essential and transformative business partner to the Latin American channel,” said Paul Bay, executive vice president and Group President, Americas for Ingram Micro.

Ingram Micro continues to strengthen its Advanced Solutions strategy in the LATAM region, making significant investments to expand its portfolio of solutions and services, and share best practices across the subsidiaries.

In 2017, the investments translated into a double-digit growth and increased market share for Ingram Micro within LATAM.

Another key factor differentiating Ingram Micro from its competitors is CloudBlue, an Ingram Micro business and leading commerce platform provider. Credited with transforming the operations of 200 of the industry’s top global service providers and suppliers including Claro, Telefónica, TELMEX, and Vivo, CloudBlue presents the channel with increasing opportunities around anything-as-a-service (XaaS) platforms.

According to Bay, advanced solutions and cloud services will continue to drive the growth of the company’s IT business in Latin America.

“Organizations around the globe are using cloud services to simplify and enhance their business models, ultimately making it easier for them to engage and meet the needs of their customers, prospects and partners in the digital world,” said Bay. “Ingram Micro is proud to serve as an indispensable business partner and game-changing commerce platform provider to the channel, helping companies around the world use technology to build a strategic advantage and deliver an exceptional experience.”
