Ingram Micro Teams with Global Systems Integrator to Help Technology Solution Providers Deliver Integrated Telephony Services

(SAIC), a leading international research and information technology firm, to help technology solution providers support Cisco Systems Inc.'s first internet protocol (IP) telephony platform.

This strategic relationship allows access to SAIC's extensive certified professionals to enable solution providers to deliver solutions utilizing Cisco's AVVID platform, or Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data. AVVID provides an enterprise architecture that integrates voice, video and data over a common IP transport in a complete solution. It is important that information technology (IT) professionals are able to deploy networks with capabilities for converged architecture as enterprises are continuously challenged to accommodate data, voice and video traffic on their computer networking infrastructures.
