SANTA ANA, CALIF., May 20, 2005 -Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced a consolidation of its key management team to further integrate the North America region and advance key business strategies.

"From a back-office point of view, our region has begun operating as a multinational company," said Keith Bradley, president, Ingram Micro North America. "Having a focused management team to drive consistent business strategies and implement best practices across borders and throughout our business will be a key component to our success." Effective immediately, Brian Wiser will return to a sales role as senior vice president of sales, North America. In addition, Martin Kalsbeek, a 14-year veteran of Ingram Micro Canada, will become vice president, general manager for Ingram Micro in Canada. Maintaining Canada as a separate country within a North America region, Kalsbeek will be responsible for localizing and executing upon the regional strategies, objectives and financial commitments to the region. He will also oversee Canadian business operations and remain accountable for service and performance levels for Canadian customers and vendors. Mark Snider will join the Canadian team as vice president, sales, responsible for the managing the Canadian value-added reseller (VAR), government and education and large account sales teams in Canada. As a result of this management consolidation, Dave Walsh and Murray Wright will leave the company. In addition, Pat Capparelli has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. "Canadian customers and manufacturer partners will not experience any changes to their service and support," said Bradley. It will also allow us to work more holistically as a team while maintaining separate responsibilities for the countries."

Over the past three years, Ingram Micro North America has successfully integrated its back-office functions. This recent move allows other business units within the region to follow. Ingram Micro Logistics and Nimax will gain a North America footprint to build regional best practices and leverage regional operations. Support functions, such as finance and operations, will remain in their current North America structures.

Bradley continued, "by successfully integrating our U.S. and Canadian organizations, we can effortlessly engage customers and vendors in regional business opportunities and fuel the great work we're doing against our profitable growth objectives." For more than 20 years, Wiser has held key positions within Ingram Micro's sales and marketing departments.
