CRN Celebrates the IT Channel’s Best and Brightest Unsung Executives
in Annual List
Irvine, Calif., Sept 28, 2020 – Ingram Micro Inc. is pleased to announce Farrah Zidehsarai, director of the company’s Dell Technology and VMware Business Unit, was recognized by CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, as one of this year’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should.
Based on feedback from leading solution providers and industry executives, the CRN editorial team promotes the 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list to call attention to outstanding individuals within the channel who may not be household names, yet play an important role for their companies in keeping their partners and providers thriving, while also contributing to the growth of the IT channel.
With more than 20 years of channel experience, Zidehsarai leads the team behind Ingram Micro’s award-winning U.S. Dell and VMware business, and the company’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative on the Buffalo, NY campus. Throughout her career, Zidehsarai has built successful relationships with key stakeholders and led cross-departmental teams to surpass business goals locally and globally. The CRN honor highlights Zidehsarai significant contributions to Dell's rise and continued recognition as a channel champion, as well as VMware’s expanding footprint as a preferred channel vendor. Her ingenuity and foresight also inspired the Ingram Micro Dell “partner playbook," which has enabled the two industry leaders to standardize the success of channel partners’ marketing, selling and support of Dell and VMware’s portfolio of product.
“Farrah is a fantastic and focused leader who listens to the needs of her team and their customers, adjusting strategies, and finding new and different ways to capture more opportunities, while simultaneously overcoming business challenges,” says Ryan Grant, executive director, Integrated Solutions, Ingram Micro. “It is fantastic to see Farrah’s contributions and career success celebrated by CRN.”
“Managing a successful channel partner program today calls for a small army of people, but only a few Channel Chiefs tend to enjoy widespread recognition,” says Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “With the 100 People You Don’t Know But Should, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on an exceptional group of unsung team members, giving them some of the acclaim they deserve for their indispensable contributions to channel success.”
The 100 People You Don’t Know But Should will be featured in the October issue of CRN Magazine and can be found online at www.crn.com/100people. Zidehsarai’s profile can be viewed here.
