Ingram Micro Hosts 15th Semiannual VentureTech Network Invitational With Focus on Growth, Value and Partnership

Leading IT Distributor Welcomes 430 Solution Provider Partners and IT Manufacturers to 'VTN L.I.V.E.' in Palm Desert, Calif.

SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Committed to helping solution providers "Partner Smart" and build their businesses, Ingram Micro Inc., (NYSE: IM) today announced it will host its 15th semiannual VentureTech Network (VTN) Fall Invitational event Oct. 4 - 7 in Palm Desert, Calif., at the JW Marriott Desert Springs.

With approximately 430 solution providers pre-registered, Ingram Micro's VTN L.I.V.E (Leadership, Innovation, Value, Excellence) Fall 2006 Invitational sets record attendance and will deliver a valuable lineup of workshops featuring well-known technology, business and marketing experts, as well as VTN members and industry executives sharing proven business strategies.

The four-day, interactive Invitational will be co-hosted by Kirk Robinson and Justin Crotty, Ingram Micro's newly appointed vice presidents of channel marketing and services. Keynote speakers include the company's CEO, Greg Spierkel, and COO and president, Kevin Murai, as well as motivational speaker Ross Shafer.
