Campus-wide celebrations will honor American military veterans and donate funds to local veteran organizations
BUFFALO, NY and IRVINE, CA, – Nov. 11, 2016 – On Friday, Nov. 11, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) will host veteran appreciation events at several of its U.S. campuses. The Irvine headquarters will welcome associate veterans and their guests to an event at 3 p.m. in the Market Cafe at Park Place Irvine, the office complex in which the company is based. Ingram Micro has also opened its appreciation event to any veterans from neighboring businesses in Park Place Irvine.
The event will include remarks from Kirk Robinson, senior vice president, Ingram Micro U.S., as well as an inspirational guest speaker and a presentation of several donations to local veteran organizations. The event will also celebrate the birthdays of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy.
Ingram Micro's Buffalo campus will honor its veteran associates during an appreciation breakfast on campus from 8:30-10:30 a.m. that day, and will donate to a local veteran charity. All Buffalo associates who have served or are serving in the U.S. military are welcome to attend. At 11 a.m. all Ingram Micro Buffalo associates, and family members who are veterans, may participate in a campus-wide ceremony to celebrate Veterans Day and honor America's heroes.
