Ingram Micro Expands Seismic Virtual Services Warehouse Offerings and Launches New Partner Forum

Industry leader strengthens services and support portfolio with Seismic Online Backup and Restore, Print Monitoring and Management solutions, and new interactive Partner Forum

SANTA ANA, Calif., June 27, 2007 - Taking the complexity and infrastructure cost out of selling and delivering managed services, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced two new service offerings from the Seismic Virtual Services Warehouse, as well as a new online education and networking forum. The new services are available now and the interactive partner forum is available exclusively to Seismic partners.

The new Seismic Online Backup and Restore and Seismic Print Monitoring and Management services work with Ingram Micro's Seismic Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform and include:

  • Seismic Online Backup and Restore, powered by VaultLogix - This new service enables Seismic partners to offer clients an affordable, solution for the universal need for secure, cost-effective data storage and rapid retrieval for PCs, laptops, file servers and application programs and databases.
  • Seismic Print Monitoring and Management, powered by Print Audit - Ideal for print-intensive working environments, this new service offering helps partners restore profits to their print business by allowing them to manage their clients' day-to-day print services, ensuring that consumables, maintenance services and print costs are managed efficiently.

In addition, Ingram Micro announced its new Seismic Partner Forum, an online community chat area hosted within the Seismic Success Support Portal. Available exclusively to Seismic partners, this new education and networking forum encourages solution providers to openly exchange ideas, share best practices and ask questions about a variety of topics, including managed services.

Ingram Micro's growing portfolio of Seismic services and support offerings is available now. All Seismic services, including the Seismic Hosted RMM, Print Monitoring and Management, Online Backup and Restore, E-mail and Web Defense, Network Operations Center (NOC), Hosted Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Help Desk, can be purchased together or separately. Access to the Seismic Success Support Portal and Partner Forum is free to Ingram Micro Seismic partners.
