Automated Cloud Services Platform Delivers First-to-Market Access to Microsoft Office 365

Cham, Switzerland – November 4, 2015. Building on its strong cloud presence in Europe, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced the availability of its Cloud Marketplace in Switzerland. This marks the ninth country in Europe to welcome the automated marketplace, and the 16th country worldwide. Initially featuring Microsoft Office 365 through the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, as well as a suite of migration tools, the Cloud Marketplace allows channel partners to quickly grow their cloud business by bundling their own cloud services and consolidating invoicing.

In addition, channel partners can now seamlessly convert Microsoft Advisor subscriptions to the CSP program through Ingram Micro’s Microsoft Advisor to CSP service plan. Delivered on the Cloud Marketplace, the service plan is designed to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft CSP and allow channel partners to own the complete customer lifecycle while recognizing topline revenue.

According to IDC, the public cloud services market in Switzerland will grow from US$810M in 2013 to US$2.611B in 2018, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26.4%. Though IaaS is the fastest growing sector, SaaS applications will account to more than half the market for the entire period of the forecast.*

“Ingram Micro remains committed to helping European channel partners realize cloud success, delivering innovative solutions that drive increased value and profitability to their cloud business,” said Thomas Mauer, senior managing director, Switzerland, Ingram Micro. “The Cloud Marketplace simplifies success in the cloud by supporting rapid scalability and cloud deployment, seamless user-adoption, and accelerated investment in new cloud services.”

The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace is an ecosystem of buyers, sellers and solutions that allows channel partners to transform and grow their business by offering instant access to a variety of top-tier cloud solutions from a single online console. Through its automated platform, the Cloud Marketplace delivers seamless customer management of the complete cloud subscription lifecycle. View a live demonstration of the Cloud Marketplace here.
In addition, Ingram Micro offers a suite of cloud services and programs designed to further drive channel partner success:

  • Ingram Micro Cloud Elevate: Ingram Micro’s premier channel program, Cloud Elevate, rewards success in the cloud for top channel partners who drive more customers and greater cloud consumption to the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.
