Opens Second Indianapolis ITAD Facility with Expectation to Add 150 Jobs
Irvine, CA. – October 16, 2019 – Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services today announced the opening of a second IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Processing Center in the Indianapolis, IN area. Located in Plainfield, this newest facility is the fourth Ingram Micro ITAD processing center operating in the United States, joining Chandler, AZ; Indianapolis, IN; and Pine Brook, NJ. With over 200,000 square feet, this facility nearly triples the company’s ITAD processing capacity in the Indianapolis area, providing a broad range of efficient, safe, and secure technology disposition services, including data erasure and drive destruction, processing, remarketing and responsible recycling.
“There is a tremendous need for safe and secure disposal of IT assets and we are proud to help meet that need with the opening of our second ITAD facility in greater Indianapolis,” said Todd Zegers, vice president, ITAD, Commerce & Lifecycle Services. “We have a long history in the area, going back to the beginning of our ITAD business in 2001, and the employment base provides a great pool of excellent prospects to join our team. The market for enterprise-level IT asset disposition services has never been stronger and we are committed to continuing to add processing capacity to meet the growing demand for U.S. ITAD services.”
“Our team has worked together flawlessly to bring this state-of-the-art facility online, and our clients will see an immediate benefit with faster through-put times for their end-of-service IT assets,” adds Zegers. “Once fully operational, the facility will bring over 150 jobs to the Indianapolis metro area with room to scale up even more to meet increasing volumes.”
