Company Promotes Matthew A. Sauer to Senior Vice President of Human Resources Worldwide, Upon Retirement of David M. Finley

SANTA ANA, Calif., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced the appointment of Matthew A. Sauer to senior vice president of human resources worldwide, upon the retirement of current human resources head David M. Finley in mid-February. Sauer joined Ingram Micro in 1996 and previously served as corporate vice president, strategies and processes, for Ingram Micro's worldwide human resources department.

In his previous role, Sauer, 54, was responsible for the development and implementation of the processes to support the company's corporate human resources strategies. Most recently, he led the integration of the worldwide and North American human resources organizations as part of the company's profit improvement efforts this past year. Effective with his appointment, Sauer will lead the human resources strategy for Ingram Micro worldwide.
