The annual awards ceremony, which took place earlier this month at the 2006 Ingram Micro Marketing Symposium in Anaheim, Calif., recognized the business and partnering achievements of the distributor's leading and emerging technology manufacturer and software developers.
Ingram Micro presented twelve Awards of Excellence, each taking into account the recipients' overall alliance with Ingram Micro and its channel partners, as well as their achievements against performance metrics for revenue, profitability, marketing programs, reseller support and services.
In addition to ten specific technology categories, Ingram Micro once again presented the Leap Award, which recognizes those manufacturers that exemplify outstanding growth and partnership, and the Channel Community Award of Excellence.
