Sun-Authorized Resellers Gain Additional Value-Added Services from Ingram Micro

, the world's leading wholesale distributor of technology products and services, announced today that Sun Microsystems, Inc. has joined its government and education reseller program. The agreement allows the distributor to bring Sun's full line of Unix(R) hardware and software to the federal, state/local and end-user markets, through Sun-authorized resellers and Sun-authorized federal resellers.
Sun has joined Ingram Micro's Partnership America(TM) program, which assists government and education resellers in the procurement process. Ingram Micro is one of three master resellers from which authorized value-added resellers (VARs) can purchase Sun products.

Such services include proposal support, contract processing support, state/local programs, dedicated government and education account managers, credit services and configuration support.
