(NYSE: IM), the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, today announced its global regions swept six of the seven Distributor of the Year awards and achieved the No. 1 distribution channels market share position for IBM's Personal Computing Division (PCD) and eServer xSeries systems in the Americas region for 2002.
For the PCD award category, Ingram Micro received Distributor of the Year in all three regions: the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Ingram Micro also received recognition as Distributor of the Year in the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions for the xSeries category and in Europe for the IntelliStation category. IBM's Distributor of the Year awards honor the distribution partner that demonstrates excellence in service and support to the IT reseller channel.
