DPS and Ingram Micro Sign Distribution Agreement

Spark and EditBAY Become First DPS Multimedia Products Available through Ingram's Global Distribution Channel

MARKHAM, Ontario, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Processing Systems Inc. today announced it has signed a worldwide distribution agreement, with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM) , the world's leading wholesale distributor of technology products and services. This agreement signifies the first time DPS multimedia products Spark(TM) and EditBAY(TM) are available to VARs and resellers from a distributor.

DPS EditBAY is a powerful, affordable system that enables video professionals and enthusiasts to capture, edit and output broadcast quality video. The combination of the PCI bus live video capture card and DPS Video Action 5.O(TM) software bundled with 1000+ transitions and Deluxe/3D Effects software, will be targeted at the rapidly growing industrial and "prosumer" marketplace, and will have a suggested retail price of $849(a).

DPS Spark is the recognized industry leading PC capture card for all-digital editing on a PC. Data can be moved or copied from one storage device to another without alteration or degradation. DPS Spark allows for transmission of an edited tape back to the DV camcorder for TV viewing or recording directly to a VCR. DPS Spark for Windows 95 has a suggested retail price including the full version of Adobe Premiere non-linear video editing software, is $995(b). DPS Spark is also available without Adobe Premiere for only $699(c).
