Prestigious list celebrates leaders who are committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging – within their organization and across the IT channel
IRVINE, Calif., – July 8, 2024 – Ingram Micro Inc. announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named five members of the Ingram Micro global leadership team as 2024 Inclusive Channel Leaders. In its second year, the list recognizes executives from vendor, distributor, and solution provider organizations who are dedicated to making a positive impact across the IT channel through inclusive leadership.
The CRN 2024 Inclusive Channel Leaders honorees are passionate about advancing equity and diversity within their organizations, the channel, and across the greater technology industry. With this recognition, CRN highlights these executives for their desire to foster inclusion and belonging.
Ingram Micro executives included among this year’s honorees are:
- Dr. Ashley Goodwin Lowe, Advisor, DEI Lead: Dr. Goodwin Lowe provides direct strategic leadership and facilitates the functions of Ingram Micro’s 8 U.S. ERGs. She also serves the Ingram Micro community as an inclusive thought leader and subject matter expert who has championed belonging through her contributions in developing content for training materials on inclusive hiring practices and mitigating micro-aggressions, and for Ingram Micro’s award-winning DEIB videos, “Together” and “Authenticity.”
- Bill Brandel, Senior Vice President, U.S. Channel Go To Market: As the U.S. Executive chairperson of Ingram Micro’s Global DEI Council, Brandel belongs to and champions eight Ingram Micro Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) – Pride, Women’s Forum, Veteran Engagement, Multi-Cultural Coalition, Modern Working Families, disABILITY & Inclusion, Thrive, and Butterfly Coalition.
- Cheryl Rang, Vice President, Technology Solutions: A dynamic leader, Rang belongs to the Women’s Forum ERG and strives to create a safe environment where everyone feels they can speak, share, and have their voices heard. She holds open communications forums across all levels at Ingram Micro, including a small group forum for rising female leaders among the company’s national field sellers. For this forum, participants are brought ‘into the room’ remotely with field resources, so everyone can participate – no matter their location. Rang also serves as a special guest speaker for Ingram Micro’s other ERGs.
- Sabine Howest, Senior Vice President, Global Digital Operations: Howest, who has served as an executive sponsor for Ingram Micro’s ERGs, is focused on creating a culture where all people are treated as equals, individual differences are celebrated, and care is taken to solicit a diversity of opinions so the best decisions can be made. She aspires to mentor others in the value of and avenues for providing inclusive leadership.
- Tyler Coughlan, Country Chief Executive (CCE), Ingram Micro Canada: As the CCE of Canada, Coughlan is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and collaborative culture, where every voice is heard and valued. He sits on the Executive Council for Ingram Micro Canada’s ERG Committee.
Working under the leadership of CEO Paul Bay, these executives, along with the organization’s 24,000 associates, strive each day to make Ingram Micro one of the most inclusive companies in the world by continuously fostering a culture that respects, engages, educates, and elevates each and every team member.
