Ingram Micro to Deliver CA's ERwin Modeling Suite to the Channel
ISLANDIA, N.Y., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) today announced the expansion of an agreement under which Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE:IM)
, the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services, will deliver CA's world-class enterprise modeling solutions to the reseller channel in North America.
Ingram Micro already carries a complete line of CA storage management, security and network/desktop management solutions for the channel, including such popular titles as ARCserve and InoculateIT.

Under the agreement, Ingram Micro will offer CA's ERwin Modeling Suite -- including ERwin, BPwin, ModelMart, ERwin Examiner and Paradigm Plus -- to more than 175,000 technology solution providers. These advanced solutions provide robust modeling capabilities that visualize, design and maintain high-quality eBusiness applications and databases.
Ingram Micro and CA have developed the CA Focus Team -- a dedicated group of CA experts at Ingram Micro to focus on product sales, licensing programs, technical support, marketing support and inventory fulfillment. Designed to smooth the buying and deployment process, CA's unique Focus Team concept enables select distribution partners to address the full range of product, program and technical inquires on a moment's notice with accurate information provided by knowledgeable CA sources.
