CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Allaire Corporation, a leading Internet software company, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM)
, the world's largest wholesale distributor of technology products and services. Allaire's products, Cold Fusion and HomeSite, will now be available in the U.S. and Canada through Ingram Micro -- marking the first time that VARs and resellers can purchase Allaire software from a distributor.
The agreement signifies Allaire's commitment to expanding its sales channels and making it easy and cost effective to purchase the company's products. Allaire and Ingram Micro will also participate in joint marketing activities.
Cold Fusion 3.0 is a rapid application development system for the Web that allows developers to create scalable solutions for electronic commerce, collaborative computing and business systems. HomeSite 2.5 is the award- winning HTML editor for professional Web developers and designers.
